SCB and SC series are three-phase resin cast dry-type transformers, with the following differences:
1、 Coil winding
This is the biggest difference between the two.
Low voltage coil of SCB type product is wound with copper foil:
(1) Winding structure: copper foil is used for single-layer winding, and epoxy resin containing latent curing agent and F grade composite foil are used as interlayer materials. Copper foil is a thin copper sheet with a thickness of less than 0.1mm.
(2) Winding material: oxygen free copper with excellent conductivity, copper content 99.99%.
Low voltage coil of SC type product adopts wire winding:
(1) Winding structure: cylindrical coil
(2) Several ordinary glass fiber wrapped flat copper wires.
2、 Temperature rise
As the low voltage winding is close to the iron core, it is difficult to dissipate heat. SCB type products use copper foil single-layer winding structure. Because the copper foil is thin, it is easy to dissipate heat, so it is convenient to set the cooling surface and increase the ventilation, so as to ensure that the heat generated by the coil can be dissipated in time.
However, it is difficult to achieve the above objectives for SC type products with cylindrical wire wound structure.
The foil wound structure of SCB transformer is 5-7K lower than that of wire wound structure on average. In this way, the overload capacity and service life of the transformer can be improved.
3、 Load loss
As the low voltage foil structure of SCB products adopts oxygen free copper foil, the copper content is high and the impurities are relatively small, so the copper consumption is small. SC type adopts flat copper wire. The copper content of No.1 electrolytic copper is 99.96%, and the copper loss consumed by itself is more than SCB type.
For transformers of the same voltage grade and specification, the additional loss of SCB products is 5% lower than that of SC products due to skin effect.
4、 Insulation performance
SCB products adopt low-voltage foil structure. The voltage gradient between layers in low-voltage winding is very low. Compared with SC products, SCB products have higher insulation strength. Due to its large turn to turn capacitance, the product's overvoltage resistance and lightning impulse strength are improved.
